Writer's Block: Ten for the Tenth

In no particular order (obviously):

01. Modest Mouse // We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank
favourite song: Little Motel

I love MM, but more often than not, just a small amount of songs from their albums. I don't think there are really any songs off this album that I don't like. (Good News For People Who Love Bad News is quite close, but there's a couple I'm not fond of)

02. David Usher // Strange Birds
favourite song: The Music

Not really a fan of David Usher in general, but I seriously love this album. I went and bought it on a whim because I loved "The Music" so much, and the entire thing is just so fantastic.

03. The Postal Service // Give Up
favourite song: OHGODIHAVETOCHOOSE... I guess... Clark Gable

This album (and the band in general) is just so fucking ace. Everyone should own this.

04. Ai Otsuka // LOVE JAM
favourite song: Kingyo Hanabi

Great Album. All of hers are fantastic, really. Ai can do no wrong. XD

05. Cajun Dance Party // The Colorful Life
favourite song: The Hill, The View, and the Lights

I love love LOVE this band/album. Damn, I keep having less and less to say. XD

06. Frank Zappa & Captain Beefheart // Bongo Fury
favourite song: Advance Romance

This also happens to be the only live album I can stand listening to. Not many songs, but they are all AWESOME.

07. The Mountain Goats // Get Lonely
favourite song: Maybe Sprout Wings

This is a close one. "Cobra Tattoo", I sometimes like, I sometimes hate. But overall, I really really enjoy this.

08. OLIVIA // The Cloudy Dreamer
favourite song: Stars shining out

Mini-album, but I'm counting it. I don't care! XD OLIVIA has such a freaking beautiful voice, everything she does is just so lovely.

09. Rammstein // Rosenrot
favourite song: Stirb nicht vor mir

SO CLOSE. Total toss up between this and the "Reise, Reise" album, but I really can't stand "Amerika". XD

10. Shiina Ringo // Heisei Fuzoku
favourite song: Sakuran (TERRA ver.)

HAHA OH GOD I LOVE THIS ALBUM. So fantastic, it's just so funky and jazzy and totally fun to listen to.

I don't like this whole thing, but it is still freaking wonderful.

Keane // Hopes and Fears
favourite song: Snowed Under

I fucking LOVE Keane, but I've never actually heard any of their albums in their entirety. I've heard the most from this one, so... yeah.
