Never have I felt such nostalgia while reading something new.

So, went out with Nate tonight, saw The Rum Diary. It's was pretty good. Interesting. Not exactly what I was expecting, I must say.

Fortunately, there was very little talk of his new gal, which of course I was quite pleased with. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm not happy for him and all that, but it's really not something I'm interested in hearing about, from him or anyone else*. I'm not even gonna mention anything about that though, because seriously. Seriously. Anyway, borrowed some comics off him, so yeah. That's about it.

So windy outside though! Crazy.

Woo, only two more weeks of work left. Crazy! It's been going by so quickly.

Today was a bit rough, four skids for preschool and I was alone, and also not feeling the greatest. Ah well. At the end of the night, had a fake gunfight with Jared, and that was kinda... the best?? Good times. He's pretty amusing. Said he might be quitting though. :/

So, went and hung out with Nate today. Was fun! Watched a bunch of stuff, overall pretty good! Started off with Kung Fu Hustle, which I'd never seen and he swore was hilarious, so yeah, why not? I... yeah. Didn't think it was that good. Some funny parts, but overall not really impressed. Oops?

Next up, Neon Genesis Evangelion: You Can (Not) Advance, which was awesome! YAY~! In English though, which seems so unnatural to me. Anyway, still enjoyed it. Um, is Mari not the coolest ever?!?! Like seriously. Asuka is (and forever will be) my favorite but man, that girl! YESSS

After that watched two episodes of XXXHolic, which I'd been told about by both Jackie and him, but never bothered to check out. Because I am lazy? Anyway, it was kinda interesting. Honeslty don't know if it's something I'd pursue actively. HM.

NEXT! Blues Brothers! I'd never seen this whole movie, only like one scene. Because I am super lame? So yeah, we're watching, and it's coming up on the end of the movie, around 2AM now, and don't I just feel like biggest bitch on the planet. He's so freaking tired he's falling asleep, and then I gotta call dad to pick me up, and he was sleeping too, since it was a little later than I'd planned to be out. I mean, if it had been any other day, I'd have just stayed there, no problem, that'd all have been avoided. But why? WHY? Because today, today, of all days, I'm surfing the crimson wave. So yeah, thanks for that, universe. Very funny.

Went out to the movies with Nate tonight, just got back. Ohoho~ staying out late, I'm becoming such an adult. LOL

Anyway. Went to see X-Men: First Class, which was quite good! I enjoyed it! Was a little Wolverine cameo, which was excellent. It was full of subtitles too! Foreign languages, joy of joys!! After that we went downtown to eat but couldn't really find a good place, so we got a pizza and went to his house to watch more movies. Only ended up watching one: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

I'd been putting off seeing that since I wasn't really into the comics and I'm not at all a fan of Michael Cera, but it was good. At that point it was like 1:30-ish I think? So I called dad to come pick me up and here I am. Nate had actually brought up the point that I could crash there for the night, but that would be totally weird. Wouldn't it? Am I so totally socially inept (yes) that this is a normal thing and I don't even realize it? I really, honestly, have no idea. Even if it is some kind of standard practice, I don't think I could ever so such a thing. Maybe I'm being rude or something hahaha

ANYWAY, yeah. Good times. Borrowed some comics off him (Preacher), which he had been talking about, so I figured I'd read it. Might be good, and if not, I only have 4 of the TPBs so I'm not totally invested if I don't end up liking it.

Dream time! I haven't had any in a while, so woo~

Ok, so I was in school, taking this guitar class with Napolean. There were only like 7 people in it, and it was in this small, crowded room. Everyone always came in with guitars, but we never actually learned anything, we just kinda did random stuff. Now, there's this one girl in the class (I remember distinctly- she was short and fat and Spanish, and her name was Chelsea) was kind of crazy and was always bragging out how rich her family was and how she was able to work because people thought she was 35 (I don't know what this was all about), and everyone quickly grew to disliking her.

Anyway, one day we went on this like, field trip or something to this little gorge, and we were each assigned to do something in the gorge. Chelsea was assigned to go basically into the gorge, in this weird part where it was like, lowered, and at random times water would fill it up. Anyway, she goes in and is trying to do her assignment, whatever it was, with the teacher encouraging her, and Napolean cheering randomly. So she's in there and it starts filling with water, so she goes to get out but she can't, and she starts drowning. Out of nowhere, Napolean goes charging down towards the gorge, jumps in, and saves her, and almost immediately the water drains out, and it turns out she was carrying a bunch of illegal cheques and counterfeit money and stuff. She was some kinda smuggler or something?

So then I woke up. It was still kinda early so I went back to sleep, and had another dream!

Napolean again! I don't remember much of this one but we were riding around some city on a bicycle (like, he was biking and I was sitting on the back), and at some point I go off and meet mom and we decide that now's a good time to get a bronze head off the top of a building to give as a gift to someone.

We shop a bit and go down towards this like, parking garage or something, and Napolean is there with his bike. Mom laughs a little then says that we can just walk down to the building, and Napolean's like "no, no, just take the bike", and we're like "no, it's fine". We put our shopping bags in this car, and Napolean says something I can't remember, kisses my forehead and goes down this staircase that just kind of appeared, and I yell at him as he leaves.

HAHA WHAAAT

Anyway yeah, I'm in a pretty foul mood today.

So, last night was my last night at work! Was pretty good, also got paid~

Jenn told me (yesterday) that I have a dirty giggle. She later clarified that it was devilish. HAHA

Anyway. There was a new tv in the lunch room. We watched Hot Fuzz during the breaks~ Nate gave me a Lindt chocolate (so good).

Also! What the hell that was the strangest hair comment I've ever recieved, ever!

Also Also! Got a huge bruise on my arm! How? I don't know!

So, back from work! XD

It was kind of weird today. We were totally overstaffed, so about half the people got sent home, and the others stayed to work. Clearly, I was sent home. Kyle stayed. Nate got sent home as well, and so did a guy named Chris, who we also drove home. Man! That guy is a talker. Talked during the whole car ride home, and fast too. But I dunno, maybe it just seemed like he talked a lot because I don't really talk at all? Eh. Working again tomorrow right through until saturday, so that's good. Oh! And Jenn that worked at TRU 2 years ago is there too! It was fun talking to her again.

It's so freaking cold outside too. If I knew I would've had to wait around I would've brought a hat, seriously. I mean, Nate lent me his hat but it's so thin and didn't seem to do much, but it's nice anyway. Yeah. Bring a hat next time.

Anyway. My itunes has been a total pain in the ass lately, it keeps stopping and sometimes it'll act like it wasn't installed properly... ugh. So annoying.

Just a quick update cause I have to get some sleep, wooo!

Last day of work was good, actually got a truck in! But, of course, there was hardly anything on the skids that could be used. But it got done so whatever. Got a card from Bonnie, that was nice~

Went for breakfast with Nate again, then we hung out at the mall for a while. Got myself a book; The Brothers Karamazov. Yay! I wanted to get another Dostoyevsky book anyway, and though I told dad I wanted one for Christmas I don't think that's what I'm getting, so fingers crossed!

Wrapped the presents (god, finally!), and now it's time for sleep!

I just found out that Captain Beefheart died on the 17th omigod. I can't believe it, this is so awful.

I don't remember when or how I found out about him, but I distinctly remember that the first song I ever heard was Moonlight on Vermont (second and third were Pena and Neon Meate Dream of a Octafish), and I just fell in love. He had the most amazing howling vocals and weird timing, so cool, so different.
